How You Import New Records from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)

You can import sales accounts or contacts from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) into your application instance.

To import data from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B):

  1. Export the sales accounts or contacts from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).

  2. Import the CSV file into the application.

Before importing Fusion Service contacts, you must ensure that the sales accounts related to the contacts you want to import exist in your application instance.

Export Accounts or Contacts from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B)

You can either export a set of sales account or contact data or export all available sales accounts and account contacts from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).

You can search for sales accounts and contacts you want to import from the Search window. After searching for the records you want to export, click Export . You must select Use CRM Template as the export template so that the exported file can be later imported into the application.

Import Accounts or Contacts

You can import the sales account or contact data exported from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) into CX Sales and Fusion Service using Import Management.

To import data using Import Management:

  1. Navigate to Tools > Import Management

  2. On the Manage Imports page, click the Create Import Activity button to create an import activity.

  3. Enter the appropriate import details. While specifying the import object, select Account to import sales account data and Contact to import contact data.

  4. Browse and select your source data file in CSV format.

    The application provides predefined mappings to import sales account or contact data from Oracle Account and Contact Enrichment by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). The application tries to automatically map each of the source file columns to the appropriate target object attribute. However, you must map the columns that aren't mapped. The data in unmapped columns isn't imported.

  5. Click Validate Data to check the field mapping.

  6. Submit the import process.

  7. Verify the imported data.
