Can I change the clause title on my contract after a clause is approved?

While you can't change the entry you make in the Clause Title field after a clause is approved, you can change the title that's printed in contracts in later versions by making an entry in the Display Title field.

The display title overrides the original title in contracts. Suppose you want to change the title of the clause Liability to Limited Liability, but the clause is already approved and in use.

In this case, you can do the following:

1. Create a new clause version.
2. Enter Limited Liability in the Display Title field.
3. Submit the new version for approval.

Contract authors can start using the new version of the clause.
