How can I add new note types?

Here's how to add new note types for an object:

  1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance and search for the Manage Sales Note Type task.
  2. Add a new row to the ZMM_NOTE_TYPE: Lookup Codes table.
  3. Add the new lookup, check Enable, and enter a meaning and a description.
  4. Save and close.
  5. In Setup and Maintenance, go to the Manage Sales Note Type Mapping task.
  6. In the Manage Sales Note Type Mapping page, select the business object, such as Sales Account.
  7. In the Mapped Lookup Value field, select the lookup code you created earlier.
  8. Select an end date if needed, and set the Default field to Y.
