How can I defer replicating records during reindexing?
You can configure how Adaptive Search indexes custom search records using the Advanced subtab from the Parameters tab available in the Adaptive Search setup page. For example, for custom objects, you might want to defer re-indexing of previously created records when running a partial publish indexing process.
You can choose to change current and default advanced parameter values if you have the required privilege. Here's how to edit the Defer Replica Creation During Reindexing Adaptive Search parameters for your custom business object.

In the Current Value field, change the value from No (default value) to Yes and click Save and Close.
The next time you perform a partial publish, only a reindexing of the custom object occurs and takes less time to complete.
