How can I reference visualizations so I don't have to replace their UUIDs in other environments?

When you migrate some configurations, such as saved searches, to a new environment, their UUIDs don't remain the same. As a result, the visualizations that you created from the saved searches won't work any more. There are a couple of ways you can overcome this problem.

• Use the Export Management and Import Management tools to import the saved searches to the new environment. For details, see the topic How do I migrate visualization configurations to other environments?.
• Create an abstraction, such as a lookup, that you can use in your code instead of the UUID. For more information, see the Sales Dashboard UUID Key Abstraction video on Oracle Cloud Customer Connect.
