How can I refresh my Adaptive Search cache?

You can now perform an action to refresh your search cache if sometimes you experience that a change you made to your Adaptive Search criteria isn't immediately reflected in your workspace UI. For example, you can't see a label change you made from Application Composer even after publishing the sandbox. This might be due to a lag in the immediate refresh of the server cache.

Here's how to refresh your search cache.

  1. Sign in as a setup user.

  2. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area, and click the Configure Adaptive Search task:

    • Offering: Sales

    • Functional Area: Sales Foundation

    • Task: Configure Adaptive Search

    The Configure Adaptive Search page appears.

  3. Click the Setup tab and then the Advanced subtab.

  4. From the Actions menu, click Refresh Search Cache to clear any search cache issues.

  5. Sign out and then sign in again and test and verify your changes.
