How can I route the contract clause approval based on the user's security role?
The following topic outlines the main approval setup required to route the contract clause approval based on the user's security role. The setups can be completed using the tasks from the Setup and Maintenance work area. You need to select and edit the Manage Task Configurations for Customer Relationship Management task to create a new rule.
Follow these steps:

Sign in as a setup user.
- Assign a member's security role to the approvals group you want.
From the Setup and Maintenance work area go to the following:

Offerings: Sales

Functional Area: Sales Foundation

Task: Manage Approval Groups

On the Manage Approvals page, click the Approval Groups tab.

Add a member to the group. Click the Add Member icon to retrieve the Add to Group dialog window. In the search box, enter the email address of the member you want to include and click OK.

Click Save.

Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area again.

Search and select the Manage Task Configurations for Customer Relationship Management task. The BPM Worklist page appears.

In the Tasks to be configured region, select ContractsApproval.

Click the Edit task icon.

Click the Assignees tab and click the Go to rule icon to create a new rule.

Click the Add Rule icon to add a rule with the following conditions:

In the If section, select the condition as 1 is 1.
In the Then section, select:

List Builder: Resource

Response Type: Required

Application Role: Search for member's security role you assigned, for example
InternalContacts.username

Edit IF condition to 1 is 1 Under Then block Choose List builder : Resource Response type: Required Application Role: InternalContacts.username Rule name: "Rule1" Save and commit.
