How come I don't see a custom field in the list landing page?
For a custom field to be available in landing pages and searches, you must enable it in Adaptive Search and make sure you've run the Publish process.
To make a field searchable in work areas powered by Adaptive Search, including Sales in the Redwood user experience, you must complete these steps using the Configure Adaptive Search task in the Setup and Maintenance work area.:

You must make the field searchable for its business object.

Optionally, you can enable the field for search of a related object.

You must publish your configuration.
