How do I disable the add button for a product group in Oracle Sales?

To prevent salespeople from adding product groups to an opportunity or lead, disable the add button on the product group in the UI. Here's how:

1. In Setup and Maintenance, go to: Sales > Sales Catalog and Products > Manage Product Groups.
2. Select the product group in the navigation pane.
3. Click the Lock button so that the product group becomes editable.
4. Clear the Allow Selection checkbox.
5. Unlock the product group.
6. Save your work.
