How do I remove the Leads button in the email view in the Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in?

When users view an email in the Outlook add-in, the default contact view is shown. Options on the screen let users add an account, an opportunity, or a sales lead. Here's how to remove the sales lead option:

  1. Sign in a sales administrator or as a setup user.
  2. Ensure that you're working in an active sandbox.
  3. Go to Navigator > Configuration > Application Composer.
  4. In the Common Setup menu, or on the Overview page, go to Productivity Application Setup and then select Oracle Sales for Outlook.
  5. In the Application Features region, select the Share button.
  6. In the Share Views region, select the Email button.
  7. Clone the Default Email Share layout, name the copy, and then click the copied layout in the list of layouts.
  8. In the middle pane list, select Sales Leads and click the remove icon.
  9. Click Save in the Oracle Sales for Outlook page.
  10. Test your new page layouts and then publish the sandbox according to your company's practices.
