How do I resolve account search errors in Workspace?

Sometimes you might receive an error that Workspace can't retrieve records for the object you're searching for, or you might see some records in your search results list that you can't drill down for more details. If this happens, it's more than likely the record indexing hasn't fully completed, or you might need to run a full Publish indexing process from the Monitor UI tab of the Configure Adaptive Search page.

While records you create and update in the UI are automatically indexed and made searchable within seconds, imported records or records updated by background processes aren't available for search until the process completes.

You must click Publish to run the indexing process each time you:
  • Make changes on the Setup tab
  • Perform a production to test (P2T) environment refresh
  • Receive errors when searching or trying to retrieve records in Workspace
