Why am I getting the Microsoft authorization code error?

If users get the "Microsoft Authorization Code Error: There was an error generating a Microsoft Authorization Code. Please contact your administrator." when signing in to the Outlook add-in, you might have the Microsoft Domain Name value set incorrectly.
