Can I capture competitor details for my leads?

Yes, you can track competitors for a lead and identify one of them as a primary competitor. When you convert a lead to an opportunity, the mapped competitor information is automatically carried over to the opportunity.

Tracking competitor data provides you with useful insights for your leads and prospects. For example, you can plan appropriate sales strategies to help close deals more effectively. To capture competitor details for your lead, your administrator must expose the Competitor subtab in the Leads page, and enable the Primary Competitor field.
