Compress Sales Forecast Metrics
Use the Compress Sales Forecast Metrics scheduled process to compress the summary metrics with the transactional metric records from the underlying forecast data.
When to Use
- This process reduces space usage and improves performance for calculated metrics.
- Run it regularly to ensure the most recent forecast information is available in Sales Forecast OTBI reporting.

- Processing time varies based on the number of opportunities and territories or resources.
- Compatibility:
- Compress Sales Forecast normal and Compress Sales Forecast incremental can be run in parallel with each other but not with any other sales forecast processes.”
- The Generate Sales Forecast Metrics, Generate Sales Forecast Metric Snapshots and Refresh Sales Forecast Dimensions processes can run in parallel with this process. The application will prevent this.
