User Analytics Click Mapping Translation

Use the User Analytics Click Mapping Translation scheduled process to process the language independent mapping values and converts them to language dependent mapping values.

When to Use

This scheduled process:
  • Adds international content to the database.
  • This scheduled process translates strings that are required for the Application Usage Insights Telemetry Application.
  • This scheduled process goes through the seeded Flow Name and translates each of the flow name to the list of the languages enabled on your Point of Delivery (POD).
  • This scheduled process is run automatically during each application version upgrade.
  • This is an important scheduled process. If this scheduled process isn't run, the related features don't work as expected.

Before You Start

Review the following before scheduling this scheduled process:
  • Recommended Frequency:
    • You must run this scheduled process when you first access data and then whenever new languages are enabled.
  • Execution Time:
    • There are 20316 predefined flow names.
    • This scheduled process translates all the 20316 flow names to the list of languages enabled on your application environment.
    • It takes approximately three minutes to process these flows.
  • Compatibility:
    • None.

Troubleshooting Information

  • You can view the status of the job on the Scheduled Process navigation menu.
  • To troubleshoot further, you must enable the Apps Logger to FINEST for the user running the scheduled process and collect the application logs.
  • If this scheduled process errored, the status is marked as errored.
  • This scheduled process is idempotent and can be run multiple times. Running multiple times is however redundant.
  • After this scheduled process completes successfully, you can successfully launch the Application Usage Insights App and view the different telemetry metrics. You can view the telemetry metrics by navigating from Sales > Application Usage Onsights.
