Phone and Email Verification

Phone and email verification in addition to address verification is called data verification.

After subscribing to the Oracle Address, Email, and Phone Verification service, you can configure phone and email verification settings. You can then verify the data in your application contains an invalid phone number or email address. The application can't check if the phone numbers and emails you enter are valid for the specific person or account, of course, but it does assure that a phone number will actually dial and that an email won't bounce.

If you are using Sales and Customer Data Management in your Point of Delivery (POD), you may use phone and email address verification in both the applications. If you have phone or email address verification disabled in one of the applications, this verification feature is disabled in the other application too.
