Define Unit of Measure

The way you define the unit of measure conversion for time in Service Contracts is different from other cloud applications. Time-unit mapping ensures that the scheduling is more accurate than a simple conversion, such as 6 months = 180 days.

To define your own time unit conversions for billing schedule, you must define your own time unit conversions.

1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance work area.

2. Open the Manage Contract Profile Options task.

3. Click the RCS_DEFAULT_UOM_CLASS_CODE_FOR_SVC_DURATION profile option.

4. Select profile value to specify a default unit of measure class.

5. Click Save and Close.
