Restore Inactive Resource Roles

You may want to delete custom seed data such as a custom resource role when the role is no longer used in your organization.

If you have accidently deleted these roles, as a sales admin, you can restore them. You can temporarily hide certain resource roles and also re-instate them back, if needed later. When you delete a role, it becomes inactive. You can restore the role later by first searching for the inactive role and then restoring it in the Manage Resource Roles task.

  1. 1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:
    • Offering: Customer Data Management
    • Functional Area: Resources
    • Task: Manage Resource Roles
  2. In the search section, select Inactive in the Status filter to search for inactive roles.
  3. Select the required role and click the Restore button.
    Note: The Restore button is available only when there are inactive roles.

Results:

The inactive role is now active.
