Specify How Long to Keep Recent Items

You can configure how long to keep recent items in the database. The default is 30 days, and you can change that time by setting the profile option, Days to Keep Recent Items (ORA_ZCA_RECENT_ITEMS_PRESERVE_DAYS).

Use the Manage Administrator Profile Values task in Setup and Maintenance to access the profile option.

The process Purge Application Metrics runs weekly to automatically purge and optimize the list of recent items. You can also schedule the process manually in the Scheduled Processes UI.

Note: If recent items aren't deleted periodically, the application stores the data, and storing large amounts of recent items data can impact performance.
