Assign Stocking Locations To Technicians

Assign a stocking location to a field service technician:

1. On the Manage Field Service Technicians page, use the search fields to find a field service technician.

2. Click the Add icon (Plus icon) in the search results table to add a stocking location to the field service technician.

3. In the Add Stocking Location window:

   • Select an organization from the list of valid organizations.

   • Select a subinventory from the list of valid subinventories that appear for the selected organization.

   • Check Enable to ensure the technician can use the selected subinventory.

   • Check Default to make this the default subinventory of the technician.

   • Check Allow Parts Orders to assign privileges to the field service technician to order parts. Don't select this check box if you only want the field service technician to create the part requirement but not order the part. You might want to do this when the part requirements raised by the field service technician must first be approved by the field service administrator or parts coordinator.

4. Click Save and Create Another to save the details you've entered and open the Add Stocking Location window to assign another stocking location to the field service technician.

5. Enter the required information. Click Save and Close.
