Add Parts
You can add part requirement lines to any document using the Add Parts drawer.
To access the Add Part drawer:
-
Click the Add Part button in Part Requirement UI. This opens the Add Part drawer.
- Add or confirm part details.Note:
You can create part exchange shipments, using the PE Ship service activity, when a broken part won't be returned by the customer. Specifically, you can reference a broken customer asset when you create a part exchange shipment. When a new part is shipped to the customer, its asset record is updated with the parent asset and the remaining warranty/subscription from the broken asset. Also, the broken asset is updated to indicate that it has been replaced.
- Click Add or Save and Add Another.
