Overview of Estimates in Redwood

You can create estimates for service work orders, service requests, depot repair or return material authorizations, third-party service requests, third-party work orders, and without any document.

You can search for existing estimates based on attributes such as estimate number, estimate status, estimate expiration date, document type, document number, item, or asset.

You can refine the search by adding, updating, or removing attributes as required.

To access the Estimates search page, click the Estimates link in the drawer on the Service Logistics landing page.

Once you find an estimate, click Manage Estimates. In the Estimates page, you can review the added parts, labor, expenses, and other related information.
Note:
  • If an estimate exists for a service work order or service request, you can access it from the Oracle Customer Experience (CX). CX users can also go to the Estimates UI to create an estimate.
  • Estimates data before 24D was stored in the RCL_DEBRIEF_HEADERS and RCL_DEBRIEF_HEADER_LINES tables. To migrate that data to the current data model for estimates contact Oracle Support.
