Set Up Field Service Technicians (Redwood)
Search for and add field service technicians associated with organizations, subinventories, and other parameters.

Click Setup and Maintenance, then in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management offering, click Service Logistics, and then click Field Service Technicians.

You'll see the Field Service Technicians search page. You can use this search page to search for field service technicians.
The Field Service Technicians page includes the:- Search bar
- Filter Chips suggestion bar
- Magnifying Glass icon
- Field Service Technicians results table

Search bar
The search bar opens with filter chips, which you can add or delete depending on your search needs. The selectable filter chips include:-
Organization

Technician
You can also enter free text to search for a technician.
Because the application supports autocomplete and fuzzy logic, you can partially type your search terms.
Filter Chips suggestions bar
The filter chips appear in the Search bar and provide suggestions for filtering your results set. For example, you might see a filter suggestion for a technician name. You can select this filter chip to filter your results.
When you select one of the filter chips in the suggestions bar, it’s added to the Search bar and filters the results table.
Magnifying Glass icon
You can use the Magnifying Glass icon to search for the attributes selected in the search bar.
Field Service Technicians results table
The Field Service Technicians results table lists the results based on your search criteria and filters. You can also sort your results by selecting the arrows next to the column headers.
Review the results in the results table. The table includes the following parameters:- Technician
- Organization
- Subinventory
- Type
- Address
- Condition
- Default
- Allow Parts Orders
- Enable
From the search results, you can begin to add, edit, or delete field service technicians. Select the Edit or Delete icons for each row in the search results table.
To add a field service technician:- Navigate to the Field Service Technician search page. Here you'll see a table that lists the field service technicians based on the page filters.
- Click Add Field Service Technician. This opens the Add field service technician drawer.
- Enter the technician's name.

Select a subinventory.
- Select a condition.
- Set the relevant options for the technician:
- Default
- Allow Parts Orders
- Enabled
- Save.
