Capture Meter Readings

You can view asset meters and capture meter readings in the Work Order Charges page.

To view and capture meter readings:

1. On the Work Orders Charges page, select the View Meters action from the actions menu for your work order.

   This opens the View Meters page. There are two pages, Meters and View Meter History.

2. On the Meters page, you'll see the following:
   • Meter Name
   • Displayed Reading
   • Life-to-Date Reading
   • Last Reading Date

3. To create a new meter reading, select the Edit action from the action menu. This opens the Meter Readings page, where you can create a new meter reading.

   The following information defaults for your meter reading based on the setups:

   • Meter Name
   • Meter Code
   • Meter Type
   • Reading Type
   • Direction (ascending or descending)

4. Enter the following for you new reading:

   1. In the Reading Date-Time calendar, select a date and time.
   2. In the New Reading field, enter a value.
      Note: You can also choose to reset the reading and add a comment.
   3. Save.
5. To see all of the readings for your meter, including your most recent entry, select the View Meter History action from the action menu. You'll also see the net change between readings here.
