Capture Meter Readings

You can view asset meters and capture meter readings from the Reverse Logistics Dispositions page.

To view and capture meter readings:

1. From the Reverse Logistics Dispositions search page or the Dispositions Details page, select the View Meters action from the actions menu.

   This opens a drawer with two tabs, Meters and View Meter History.

2. On the Meters tab, you'll see the following:
   • Meter Name
   • Displayed Reading
   • Life-to-Date Reading
   • Last Reading Date

3. To create a new meter reading, select the Edit action from the action menu. Here you can create a new meter reading.

   The following information defaults for your meter reading based on the setups:

   • Meter Name
   • Meter Code
   • Meter Type
   • Reading Type
   • Direction (ascending or descending)

4. Enter the following for you new reading:

   1. In the Reading Date-Time calendar, select a date and time.
   2. In the New Reading field, enter a value.
      Note: You can also choose to reset the reading and add a comment.
   3. Save.
5. To see all of the readings for your meter, including your most recent entry, select the View Meter History tab from the tab. Here you'll also see the net change between readings here.
