Set Up Shipping Method Schedules (Redwood)

Search for, create, and edit shipping method schedules used to calculate expected ship and arrival dates in the parts search.

To set up shipping method schedules:

Select Setup and Maintenance, then in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management offering, select Service Logistics, and then select Shipping Method Schedules.
The Shipping Method Schedules search page includes the:
- Search bar
- Magnifying Glass icon
- Shipping Method Schedules results table

Shipping Method Schedules Search

Field Name	Description
Search bar	Use the search bar to search for shipping method schedules. You can add or remove filter chips based on your search needs. The selectable filter chips include: Carrier (LOV) Mode of Transportation(LOV) Service Level (LOV) You can also enter free text to search for a carrier. Because the application supports autocomplete and fuzzy logic, you can partially type your search terms.
Magnifying Glass icon	Select the icon to search using the values entered in the search bar.
Shipping Method Schedules results table	Lists shipping method schedules that match your search criteria. You can review schedule details and use the row actions to edit a schedule. Details include: Shipping methods (carriers) Days of the week Lead times Days Pick-up and delivery times Distance Enabled To create a shipping method schedule: Navigate to the Shipping Method Schedules search page. Select Create Shipping Method Schedule. Select a carrier. Select a shipping method. Enter the lead time. Select the lead time unit of measure. Enter the pick-up time. Enter the delivery time. Enter the distance. Select the distance unit of measure. Turn on the pick-up days you want to use. Select a start date and, if needed, an end date. Select Create to save the schedule and return to the Shipping Method Schedules page. To edit a shipping method schedule: In the Shipping Method Schedules page, select the schedule's Edit icon in the Actions column. In the Shipping method schedule drawer, make your changes. Select Update to save the schedule and return to the Shipping Method Schedules page.

To create a shipping method schedule:

Navigate to the Shipping Method Schedules search page.
Select Create Shipping Method Schedule.
Select a carrier.
Select a shipping method.
Enter the lead time.
Select the lead time unit of measure.
Enter the pick-up time.
Enter the delivery time.
Enter the distance.
Select the distance unit of measure.
Turn on the pick-up days you want to use.
Select a start date and, if needed, an end date.
Select Create to save the schedule and return to the Shipping Method Schedules page.

To edit a shipping method schedule:

In the Shipping Method Schedules page, select the schedule's Edit icon in the Actions column.
In the Shipping method schedule drawer, make your changes.
Select Update to save the schedule and return to the Shipping Method Schedules page.

Note: Users assigned a job role with the Shipping Method Schedules (RCL_SHIPPING_METHOD_SCHEDULES_PRIV) privilege can access this feature.
