Report Grant Overpayment and Notify NSLDS

You can report students who have not resolved their grant overpayments within the designated number of days to the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) and Debt Resolution Services (DRS).

This task is created when the Grant Overpayment resolution due date is reached, and the student has not repaid the Grant Overpayment.

To resolve this task:

1. Review external payments to ensure a payment has not been received.
2. If a payment has been received, add the payment within the task.
3. Manually update NLSDS.
4. Select Complete Task.

Expected task results is:

• Grant Overpayment is manually reported to NSLDS, as needed.
