Manage College Financing Plan
You can configure the information displayed on the student's College Financing Plan (CFP), formerly known as Shopping Sheet.
Manual Processing Steps
Student Self-Service Login
A Self-Service User Type of Admin is required to access Settings.
- Log into Student Self-Service as an Admin.
- Navigate to Note: CFP Funds Configuration that was previously setup in Self-Service Settings is now done using the Fund CFP Guide.

- Click Configuration tab to enable the CFP by Template Type and Award Year.
- Select a Template Type:
- Graduate Students.
- Undergraduate Students.
- Select an Award Year.
- Click Loan Options.
- Select an Award Year.
- Select a Template Type:
- Graduate Students.
- Undergraduate Students.
- Enter the Interest Rate and Loan Fees for each loan type.
- Click Save.
- Click Work Options.
- Select an Award Year.
- Select a Template Type:
- Graduate Students.
- Undergraduate Students.
- Enter the:
- Work-Study Hours Per Week (estimated) (graduate or undergraduate).
- Work-Study Amount Per Year (graduate or undergraduate).
- Assistantships Amount Per Year (graduate only).
- Other Campus Job Amount Per Year(undergraduate only).
Note: Beginning with the 2023-2024 Aid Year and forward, if you package students with Fund Codes that have a CFP_Category of Work Study, Other Campus Job, or Assistantship, you don't need to enter values for these fields. Only enter a value in these fields if you would like to display a standard value for a specific template type and Aid Year when a student isn't packaged for the corresponding Fund Code. - Click Save.
- Click Configurable Content Options.
- Enter Institution Name.
- Select an Award Year.
- Select a Template Type:
- Graduate Students.
- Undergraduate Students.
- Enter text in the:
- Loan Amounts Section: Default text is delivered
beginning with the 2022-2023 Award Year.Note: For the 2021-2022 Award Year, enter the text provided by U.S. Department of Education in their CFP templates for the Loan Amounts Section.

- Education Tax Benefits Section: Removed effective
with the 2022-2023 Award Year.Note: For the 2021-2022 Award Year, enter the text provided by U.S. Department of Education in their CFP templates for the Education Tax Benefits Section.
