8Set up Single Sign-On for Oracle Analytics Server

Understand the single sign-on (SSO) integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management and what users experience when signing in to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

SSO for OAS integrates with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management. It lets you open analytics and reports with the same credentials you use for other business applications. This integration streamlines sign-in and strengthens security with centralized access control.

After SSO is enabled, you’ll continue to use the same OAS web link as before. When you open that link, you’re sent to your company’s regular SSO login page. After entering your usual credentials, you’re taken straight back to OAS.

Note:

All permissions and access are controlled inside OAS and can be managed by your OAS administrators.
