Create User Defined Academic Period Attribute Dates

You can create user defined academic period attribute dates to represent specific milestones at your institution.

For example, census date or last date to change a program.

These attribute dates don't have functionality and can be used for reporting only.

1. From Student Central, click Search and search for Academic Period Attribute Dates.

2. Click Create Period Attribute.

3. Enter a unique name and code.

4. Follow the steps from step 2 in the Configure Academic Period Attribute Dates for Predefined Attributes topic. Configure Academic Period Attribute Dates for Predefined Attributes

If you create user defined attributes for the drop scheme, tag the attributes with Drop Attribute or Penalty Drop Attribute. Drop Schemes

Note: You can’t delete user defined period attribute dates if they're associated with an academic or academic reporting period.
