Academic Organizations

Academic organizations are part of the academic and physical structure of a higher education organization.

An academic organization can represent different types of organizations within an institutional structure, such as college, school, division, or department.

Access the Academic Organizations page: From Student Central, click Search and search for Academic Organizations.

Here are some things that you can do:

• Enter a future start date for an organization.
• Assign person contacts, location addresses, and identifiers.
• Create a parent relationship between a campus and an academic organization.

Rapid Implementation

You can use Rapid Implementation to create and load academic organizations. Use these tasks in the Setup and Maintenance work area, Student Management offering:

• Create Academic Structures
• Upload Academic Structures
