Create Programs

Create programs of study such as a certificate program, a major, or a minor.

Access the Programs page: From Student Central, click Search and search for Manage Curriculum.

Before you create programs, create courses, course lists, and academic groups.

Build Status

Select a build status, such as Open for Admission, from the statuses you defined on the Curriculum Build Statuses page. When you select a build status, a value of Active or Inactive appears in the Program Status field, based on the setup mapping. Only active programs are available in the self-service catalog.

Summary and Structure

Continue to create the program using the Summary and Structure tabs. This setup is discussed in other program topics.

Rapid Implementation

You can also create and load programs using the Rapid Implementation process. Use these tasks in the Setup and Maintenance work area, Student Management offering:

  • Create Curriculum Items Configuration in Spreadsheet
  • Upload Curriculum Structures in Spreadsheet
