Assign Students to Waivers

For students to use the waiver, you need to manually assign them to the waiver. And if the waiver applies to specific academic periods, curriculum, or both, students have to be enrolled in the specified academic period, curriculum, or both.

  1. From Student Central, search for Manage Credit Assignments.
  2. Click Actions > Assign Students.
  3. Follow the task wizard to complete the assignment.

In the Default Calculation Rule step, you can override the default rule that's been set up for the waiver. If you don't want to override it, just select None.

If you use an override at this level, this rule takes precedence over the calculation rules for the waiver and the specified academic period.
