How does a communication template link a communication to an event in Student Management Cloud?

A communication template connects a communication to an event by specifying the tokens that will be populated with data when the event occurs.

The template defines which tokens are available for use in the message content, and the associated event provides the values for these tokens when it's broadcasted. When a communication is published, an active subscription is automatically created for the linked event. This subscription ensures that the communication is delivered based on the event broadcast.

If the communication is unpublished, the corresponding subscription is automatically removed. Subscriptions and their mappings to events are managed and maintained by the application.
