How can I resume an expired or suspended subscription product without impacting revenue recognition?

You can resume a subscription without impacting revenue recognition by putting it on hold. When a subscription product expires, or is suspended, the product lines are sent to Accounts Receivable, which impacts revenue recognition.

Putting a subscription on hold puts billing on hold as well, so it doesn't affect revenue recognition.

Here are the different actions you can perform when subscriptions are in various statuses, along with the situations when these actions are possible:
