Get Supply Updates in Real Time

You can create a rule that specifies the items, categories, and item categories that you want to include in your supply updates.

1. Go to the Order Promising work area, click Tasks > Manage Real-Time Supply Update Rules, then create your rule.

   Promising uses the rule to consider changes to supply, such as on-hand supply, purchase orders. You don't need to restart Promising to get the updates.

2. Go to the Scheduled Process work area, then run the Start Real-Time Supply Update scheduled process to collect supply data on a schedule.

   The process updates Promising with the latest supply data for the items, organization, and item categories that you include in your rule.
