How do I identify the sources available for a transaction type?

Cost Management has nearly 1000 accounting sources that are seeded and associated to event classes. Not all sources are relevant for all event classes. Use the Manage Subledger Transaction Objects page to identify if a source is associated with an event class.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:

    • Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management

    • Functional Area: Cost Accounting

    • Task: Manage Subledger Application Transaction Objects

  2. Select the event class to which the specific transaction type belongs.

  3. Click View Source Assignments.

The page shows all the sources associated with the event class.
