Guidelines for Setting Up Stored Measures for Feature-Based Forecasting

This topic discusses the creation of stored measures for feature-based forecasting.

You can create stored measures in the Create Measure dialog box that you open from the Manage Planning Measures page.

Note these points while creating stored measures for feature-based forecasting:

• The stored measures you create for modeling features of a new product can be based on one or more of the following dimensions and the lowest corresponding levels:

  • Product and Item

  • Organization and Organization

  • Customer and Customer Site

  • Demand Class and Demand Class

  • Time and Day

• You can upload data to the stored measures that you create only using the file-based data import (FBDI) template for Supply Chain Planning measures.

  You can't use the collection process to upload data for user-defined, stored measures.

After you create the stored measures, add them to the measure catalog of the demand plan.
