Create a Production Plan
You must first create production plans to use them to perform planning activities.
Steps to create a new production plan:
- In the Supply Planning work area, click the Tasks panel tab.
- In the Tasks panel drawer, click the Manage Production Plans link.
- Click Create Plan.
- On the New Production Plan page, complete the general information for the
plan:
- Enter a Name.
- (Optional) Provide a description for the plan.
- Select a Supply Plan.
- In Number of Time Buckets to Display, enter a number.
- Select one or more organizations in Finished Goods Organizations.
- In the Simulation Set for Bills of Resources drop-down list, select the simulation set containing the bills of resources for aggregate production plans. If left empty, collected bills of resources in plan inputs are used.
- Select a segment group from the Finished Goods Segment Groups drop-down list.
- Select one or more segments in Finished Goods Segments.
- Click Create.
