Create a Production Plan

You must first create production plans to use them to perform planning activities.

Steps to create a new production plan:
  1. In the Supply Planning work area, click the Tasks panel tab.
  2. In the Tasks panel drawer, click the Manage Production Plans link.
  3. Click Create Plan.
  4. On the New Production Plan page, complete the general information for the plan:
    1. Enter a Name.
    2. (Optional) Provide a description for the plan.
    3. Select a Supply Plan.
    4. In Number of Time Buckets to Display, enter a number.
    5. Select one or more organizations in Finished Goods Organizations.
    6. In the Simulation Set for Bills of Resources drop-down list, select the simulation set containing the bills of resources for aggregate production plans. If left empty, collected bills of resources in plan inputs are used.
    7. Select a segment group from the Finished Goods Segment Groups drop-down list.
    8. Select one or more segments in Finished Goods Segments.
  5. Click Create.
