Receive and Accept a Production Plan

You must receive and accept the published production plan segments in the supply plan.

Receive a Production Plan

Steps to receive a production plan in the supply plan:

1. In the Supply Planning work area, open the supply plan connected to the aggregate production plan.
2. Click Actions and select Receive Production Plan to open the Published Plans page. The Published Plans page opens filtered by the specific supply plan from which you navigated.

Accept a Published Production Plan

You can select a published plan segment and accept it. This submits a scheduled process that runs in the background to load the published payload and firm the adjusted planned orders for the finished goods segment in the supply plan. When accepted, you rerun the supply plan with the Do not refresh with current data option.

Steps to accept a published production plan segment:

1. In the Published Plans page, select a published plan segment. You can accept a published plan segment if the Status is Published.
2. In the Accept plan drawer, click Accept. This submits a scheduled process and the Status is updated as Processing. When the process completes successfully, the Status is updated as Accepted for the selected plans. If the Status is updated as Error, refer to the log file associated with Request ID in Search Results on the Scheduled Processes page.
