Create an Asset
You can create assets either manually, or using REST API, or by import.
The steps to create an asset are:

            From the Home page, click Navigator > Supply Chain Execution > Maintenance Management. 
- 
            On the Maintenance Overview page, in the Tasks pane, click Manage Assets. 
- 
            On the Manage Assets page, click Create. The Create Asset dialog opens. 
- 
            You can create a new asset using one of the following methods: - 
                  Create New Asset 
- 
                  Copy Existing Asset 
 
- 
                  
- 
            When creating a New Asset, enter or select values in the following required fields: - 
                  Asset Number 
- 
                  Description (optional) 
- 
                  Operating Organization 
- 
                  Item (optional) 
- 
                  Enable IoT 
- 
                  Competitor Asset 
- 
                  Customer (for Customer Assets only) 
- 
                  Customer Account (for Customer Assets only) 
- 
                  Location Type 
- 
                  Organization 
- 
                  Work Center 
- 
                  Location Address 
 
- 
                  
- 
            Click Save and Close.
