Set Up Receiving Transaction Date Validations for Inventory and Work Order Destinations

To set up receiving transaction date validations for inventory and work order destination transactions, configure the Transaction Date Enabled and Maximum Number of Days Prior to Current Date in Which a Destination Transaction Can Be Created inventory profile options.

Transaction Date Enabled

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, select the Manage Inventory Profile Options task:
   • Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management
   • Functional Area: Inventory Management
   • Task: Manage Inventory Profile Options
2. On the Manage Inventory Profile Options page, enter Transaction Date Validation Enabled in the Profile Display Name field and click Search.
3. Select a value of No validation, Allow current date only, or Validation transaction date in the Profile Value field for the profile level of Site and click Save.

Maximum Number of Days Prior to Current Date in Which a Transaction Can Be Created

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, select the Manage Inventory Profile Options task:
   • Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management
   • Functional Area: Inventory Management
   • Task: Manage Inventory Profile Options
2. On the Manage Inventory Profile Options page, enter Maximum Number of Days Prior to Current Date in Which a Transaction Can Be Created in the Profile Display Name field and click Search.
3. Enter the maximum number of days in the Profile Value field for the profile level of Site and click Save.
