Receiving Document Activity Report

The Receiving Document Activity report provides diagnostic information about your application. This report collects information about a receiving document and the receipts and transactions recorded against the document.

Here's how to run the Receiving Document activity report:

  1. Select the drop-down arrow next to your ID in the upper right to open the Settings and Actions menu.

  2. Click the Run Diagnostic Tests link.

  3. On the Diagnostics dashboard, in the Search for Tests section of the page, enter Receiving Document Activity in the Test Name field and click Search.

  4. Select the test from the Search Results by clicking the check box next to the report name.

  5. Click the Add to Run button. This takes you to the Choose Tests to Run and Supply Inputs page.

  6. In the Run Tests section of the page, click the Required Input Values Validated check box to enter the report parameters.

  7. In the Input Parameters window, the Document Type defaults to PO. Other available document types include:

    • Purchase order

    • Transfer order

    • In-transit shipment

    • RMA

  8. You must also enter either a document number or receipt number to run the report. Select the check box next to either the Document Number or Receipt Number fields to activate those fields for entry.

  9. Click OK to close the Input Parameters window.

  10. Back on the Diagnostics dashboard, in the Run Tests section of the page, click the Run button.

  11. You receive a confirmation message stating that the test run has been submitted. Click OK.

  12. In the Diagnostics Test Run Status section of the page, click the Display Latest Test Run Status Information icon (arrows) to refresh the list of test runs. View the progress of your run.

  13. Click the Report icon to view your diagnostic test report.

  14. View your diagnostic report output.

  15. Go to the Error section of the diagnostic report and find any error text. Then, make the appropriate corrections.

    For example, if you see a lot or serial validation error, look at the lot and serial numbers entered in the receiving transaction and make corrections accordingly.

Note: You must be logged in as an administrator user or as a user who's granted one of the diagnostic roles to run this report.
