Set Minimum Quantity for Splitting

Before the backlog plan is run to split the order lines based on date, you must set the minimum quantity for splitting in the Manage Backlog Planning Rules task in Backlog Management work area.

  1. In the Backlog Management work area, go to the Manage Backlog Planning Rules task.
  2. Search for the backlog planning rule that is set for splitting order lines.
  3. Using the Actions drop-down, select Edit.
  4. In the Backlog Planning Rule Criteria tab, select Supply chain availability search as the backlog planning mode.
  5. Select the Split order when supply becomes available checkbox.
  6. Set the minimum quantity of units to enable splitting of order lines in the Minimum Quantity for Splitting field.
