Create a VMI Analyst

On the Manage VMI Analysts page, you can create a vendor-managed inventory (VMI) analyst from an existing Oracle Fusion user.

To create a VMI analyst:

1. In the Supply Chain Collaboration work area, click Manage VMI Analysts in the Tasks panel.

2. On the Manage VMI Analysts page, click Actions > Create.

3. On the Create VMI Analyst page, select the VMI analyst from a list of existing Oracle Fusion users.

4. Select one of the following values for Full Access:

   • Yes to grant access to all replenishment item and request data.

   • No to restrict access to specific suppliers or organizations.

5. Select one of the following values for Status:

   • Active to enable the VMI analyst.

   • Inactive to disable the VMI analyst.

6. If Full Access is set to No, click the Add icon to add a new row in the VMI Analyst Security table.

7. Select one of the following values for Security Context:

   • Supplier to grant access to a specific supplier.

   • Organization to grant access to a specific organization.

8. Select the supplier or organization value for Security Context Value.

   The values for Supplier or Organization are filled based on the selected security context.

9. Click Save and Close to save the new VMI analyst and return to the Manage VMI Analysts page.
