How Transaction Types Affect Edit Operation Items and Material Transaction History

After work orders are executed, you see material transaction updates on the Edit Operation Items page. The values in the fields change based on material demand and transactions that're handled in the back end.

Let's see what changes and what doesn't change on the page, when you update material demand and transactions:

• Your changes to miscellaneous receipt and miscellaneous issue transaction types from the back end won't affect material demand. Therefore, status of material demand doesn't change on the Edit Operation Items page.
• The Include in planning check box value depends on the material demand. If the work order operation doesn't have a material demand, the Include in planning check box is set as unselected.
• Inventory-on-hand adjustments depend on back-and-forth material transactions.
