Edit a Cluster

This topic provides information about how you edit clusters.

You can duplicate, edit, or delete a cluster.

You can delete the cluster only when it isn't selected on the Inventory Rebalancing tab on the Plan Options page for a replenishment plan.

Edit a Cluster

Follow these steps to edit the cluster:

  1. On the Tasks panel tab, under Plan Inputs, select Manage Planning Clusters.

    The Manage Planning Clusters page opens.

  2. Search for the cluster you want to edit, and select it.

  3. Edit the name and description of the cluster.

  4. In Source System, change the source system.

    Note: If you change the source system, the previously selected sweep location and cluster members are lost. The assigned priorities in the Assign Location Priority dialog box are also lost.The cluster isn't displayed on the Inventory Rebalancing tab on the Plan Options page for replenishment plans that previously included the cluster.
  5. In Sweep Location, change the sweep location for the cluster.

  6. In Lead Time Multiplier for Excess Window and Lead Time Multiplier for Shortage Window, change the multipliers for calculating the windows for the excess inventory and inventory shortage for an item-location combination.

  7. In Reserved Safety Stock Percentage, change the percentage of safety stock that's excluded from the calculation of the item-location combination's excess inventory.

  8. In Expiration Days Tolerance for On-Hand Lot, change the number of days for considering the expiration date for an on-hand lot and not considering it as supply.
  9. In Location Hierarchy, change the hierarchy for adding members to the cluster.

    Note: If you change the location hierarchy, the previously selected cluster members are lost. The assigned priorities in the Assign Location Priority dialog box are also lost.
  10. Under Cluster Members, click Edit: Cluster Members to open the Search and Select: Cluster Members dialog box in which you can add and remove cluster members.

  11. Click Assign Location Priority to open the Assign Location Priority dialog box in which you can change the priorities for locations.

  12. Save your changes.
