Supply Chain Planning Causal Factors
File-based data import process to import causal factor data into Supply Chain Planning tables. Causal factors are used by the demand planning engine to explain variations of history which lead to a better understanding of this variation, and generate a more accurate forecast. The causal factors template contains information for which the effect can vary by items or organizations but is inherently the same. For example, what month a day falls into or the timing of a holiday.
