Purge Batch Data from Maintenance Import Interfaces

During the upload and import of data, these processes can end in a warning or error status due to issues with the data. When this occurs, the data can't be further processed from the interface tables. The Asset Administrator role can be used to run a purge process to delete the data from the interface tables from all or just a specific import process. The scheduled process can be run on demand or setup on a schedule as required by your business processes.

There are two processes that can be run:

Scheduled Process Name

Description

Purge Maintenance Records from Interface

This purge program is recommended to be used by Maintenance customers to purge records from interface tables for installed base assets, maintenance work orders, maintenance work definitions, and product genealogy. This includes interface data created by file-based upload and REST API.

Purge Records from Interface

This purge program is recommended to be used by Manufacturing customers to purge records from interface tables for work orders, work definitions, work order operation transactions, work order material transactions and work order resource transactions. This includes interface data created by file-based upload and REST API.

Note: This program will purge interface records for both Oracle Maintenance and Oracle Manufacturing transactions in these tables as the transactions are common across work methods.
Note: Ensure that the purge processes aren't run at the same time as the Create Forecast and Create work Order processes for maintenance programs. The maintenance programs processes use the same interface tables as the purge processes, and the purge processes will interfere with the maintenance program processes.
