Release Shipment Requests to an External 3PL or WMS Using Release Sequence Rules

You can ensure that your shipping requests are released to your third-party logistics provider or warehouse management system in the order you want by setting release sequence rules.

Here's how you can set these rules:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:

    • Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management

    • Functional Area: Shipping

    • Task: Manage Pick Wave Release Rules

  2. On the Manage Pick Wave Release Rules page, select the required pick wave release rule and click Actions > Edit.

  3. On the Edit Pick Wave Release Rule page, click the Options tab.

  4. In the Processing section, select the relevant Release Sequence Rule.

  5. Click Save and Close.
